I am one-hundred percent right-handed and I'm pretty much left-brained. I approach things sequentially - do this first, then this next. However, I've been working very, very hard to sharpen up the right side of my brain. That seems to have little impact on my ability to use my left hand. I am just completely right handed. So, when the sketching challenge this week was to draw with our non-dominant hand I resisted - for most of the week. I decided though that if I want to develop creativity sometimes I need to respond to prompts I don't want to do. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results of my newest doodle. Seeing where I signed my name on the back is the funnier part - I can't believe just how badly I write with my left hand.
I decided to google left-brain/right-brain tests and of course got some of the normal Internet wackiness, but I ran across a couple that were okay so I'm sharing my results from one of the tests.
I'm looking forward to the weekend - headed to the farm tomorrow evening for a family dinner which will be great. Lindsay will also enjoy several hours running and playing with her "cousin" Sammy. I hope you're looking forward to great plans for the weekend. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
